A specialist approach

Protection starts
at the surface.

Zinc electroplating puts a protective zinc layer onto suitable metal components. At Metal-lech, our focus is straightforward: zinc plating in three finishes, with barrel and jigging work to suit the component.

From a box of fasteners to a batch of components, the starting point is the same — understanding the part, the finish and the job.

Yellow zinc

A yellow-gold appearance with characteristic iridescence. A distinctive finish for zinc plated components.

Black zinc

A dark charcoal-to-black appearance for parts that need a less reflective, darker zinc finish.

Barrel plating

Small components.
A focused process.

Barrel work brings suitable small parts together for batch zinc plating. A practical process for components that can move together during plating.

Jigging / rack plating

Jigging work.
Each part in place.

Components are secured individually on a jig or rack during zinc plating. An option for parts whose shape or handling requirements make them unsuitable for tumbling in a barrel.

Available in blue, yellow and black zinc finishes. Send a photo or drawing, dimensions and quantity so we can review the work with you.
