ZINC ELECTROPLATING BARREL & JIGGING

Small components. Batch work.

Barrel plating.
Made for the batch.

A focused zinc plating process for suitable small parts. Tell us about the component and the quantity, and we’ll review the work with you.

The process

Small parts,
processed together.

In barrel electroplating, suitable components move together inside a rotating barrel during the plating process. It is commonly used for small parts that can tolerate contact with one another.

Metal-lech offers barrel work with blue, yellow and black zinc finishes. Suitability depends on the component’s shape, size, material and finishing requirements.

Other suitable components assessed from their dimensions, geometry, base material and desired finish.

Before you enquire

The right information
makes a difference.

Send a clear photo or drawing with the quantity. A sample can help when the component needs a closer look.

Prepare your enquiry
Is every small part suitable for barrel plating?

No. Delicate parts, parts that can tangle or nest together, and parts with critical cosmetic or dimensional requirements need a closer assessment. Components needing individual support may suit jigging work. Send a photo or drawing so the work can be reviewed.

What quantities can you process?

Tell us the number of parts or approximate batch weight. Batch acceptance, pricing and scheduling are confirmed after we review the job; this website does not specify a fixed minimum or maximum.

Can you plate high-strength fasteners?

Include the fastener grade, material and any relevant coating or post-treatment requirements. Suitability and the required process must be reviewed before accepting this work.

How long does a job take?

Timing depends on the parts, quantity, required finish and current schedule. The expected turnaround is confirmed when the work is quoted and agreed.

Tell us what needs finishing.

Send the component details. We’ll help you take the next step.
